This scheme started in financial year 2008-09 by the state government with the aim to increase awareness of education to the students from the most backward classes and to provide financial benefits to the students who are studying in rural areas in adverse conditions new scheme " Mukhyamantri Atyant Pichhada Varg Medhavriti Yojana" has started.
Medhabriti (Merit Scholarship) of Rs. 10,000 is being provided to BC Students who secure first division in Matriculation Examination.
To get benefit of this scheme, the students belonging to backward classes will get amount of Rs. 10,000 only.
